Just imagine my surprise and joy yesterday when I received an email saying that Bishop Greg was recommending that the whole diocese should adopt Back to Church Sunday. Bishop Greg happens to be the Bishop of Argentina and the Archbishop of the Southern Cone (South America). This is the continuing story of Back to Church Sunday that the LORD is continually surprising us with what He wants to do. For example many churches will use the initiative this year as a focus for asking renewal questions like “What kind of church are we inviting people to? What is church? These are very simple questions but followed through could allow the Holy Spirit to move and answer the prayers of many. Who knows what He is up to?
